Pillow Dumbbell Exercise: An Introduction

A pair of pillow dumbbells is what you need to do the Suzuki Dumbbell Exercise


  • The pillow dumbbell exercise involves 12 movements/steps with 15 to 20 repetitions each.
  • It will take about 15-20 minutes per set.
  • These dumbbells are very light, weighing 300grams each. Small and light, but effective if performed correctly.
  • The steps for pillow dumbbell exercise was created by Prof. Masashige Suzuki and had been distributed and practiced in Japan, Korea, China and Malaysia.
  • These 12 movements of Dumbbell exercise increase resting metabolic rate (RMR) and diet-induced thermogenesis  (DIT) and stimulate energy metabolism.
  • These slow but continous movements exercise and train the large body muscle groups of the upper and lower body.
